The Actual Expansion FAQ by Magic Geek
The coastal regions are Umbar, West Harondor, Pelargir, Lamedon, Dol Amroth, Anfalas, Andrast, Druwaith Iaur, Enedwaith, Minhiriath, South Erid Luin, Harlindon, Grey Havens, and Fornlindon
The Dunlendings and Corsair factions cannot be eliminated.
If a shadow army is destroyed by Ent attack, all Shadow Minions and Nazgul are also destroyed.
Gandalf cannot eliminate “A Balrog is Come” while in the Fellowship.
Gandalf being in the Fellowship does not count as Gandalf being in an area.
Rangers of the North can recruit troops without attacking.
“Wind from the West” can eliminate “We Shall Get It”
If combat cards influence one another, the defender's is applied first.
A defensive “Sudden Strike” is resolved before an offensive “Durins Bane” or “Old Hatred”
Seige Engines only effect the Combat Roll.
Siege Engines do not effect “Sudden Strike” or “Charge”.
Siege Engnes do effect “Valor” (Tolkien would spell it “Valour”)
Grond and The Fighting Uruk Hai still go for 3 rounds if either side has Seige Engines.
If Free has superiority at the end of 3 rounds, the attack may not be extended.
If Shadow has superiority at the end of 3 rounds, the attack may be extended by one round without sacrificing elites. After that, shadow may reduce elites to continue the seige as normal.
The Free must sacrifice a Seige Engine to gain Superiority before player anounce they are playing cards.
Seige Engines are force pool limited to 6, and cannot be voluntarily eliminated.
Free cannot build Seige Engines in captured Shadow strongholds.
If Smeagol is drawn by a card eg Orc Patrol or Isildur's Bane, put Smeagol into play.
If Smeagol is drawn by a card, and Smeagol is already the guide, the tile is treated as a Zero and is returned to the hunt pool.
Drawing a tile for moving through a stronghold is done before the Fellowship is actually moved.
Smeagol can take the damage before he would have been eliminated for being in a Free City or Stronghold.
Galadriel cannot be mustered if the Shadow own Lorien.
The Balrog can only move if “A Balrog Has Come” is in play.
