Hello, we just finished our first few Rohan and Gondor scenarios and really enjoyed this new variant. Nevertheless, wie encountered some (minor) questions: 1) Saruman's special ability "Host of Isengart" allows to move 4 armies into 4 free adjacent regions. I understand that "free" simply means that they are free of enemy units, but my opponent thought there would be another meaning, such as "free of all units", i.e. empty, because the word free is emphazised and it's quite clear that units cannot move into a region containing enemy units (except during a siege). What's the secret meaning of the word "free" here? 2) The FP card "Dreams and Legens spring to Life" allows to advance the Fate Marker on the Fate track if Aragorn is not on the Fate Track. What, if Aragorn is already dead? He isn't on the Fate Track any more, but the card doesn't state that he has to be on the board. Maybe his death can also trigger Fate... Can I use the card with a dead and gone Aragorn? 3) The FP card "You do not know your peril" allows to remove 3 Leadership tokens from an adjacent Shadow army. Does this mean "up to" or can I use this card only against an army with at least 3 tokens? Thank you very much! Grima Wormtongue

1. From page 4 of the rulebook:
"A Region is considered to be free for a player if there are no Army Units of the opponent in that Region."
2. If Aragorn has been eliminated the card still allows the FP plaer to advance the Fate marker one step.
3. It can be used against any Shadow army, even one without any Leadership tokens.
