Smeagol is "discarded" if he is the Guide of the Fellowship and it is declared in an FP City or Stronghold. Does this count as "being eliminated in any way" for purposes of bringing We Shall Get It into play? In other words, does declaring the Fellowship in a City or Stronghold have the same effect on Smeagol as his being eliminated as a Hunt casualty, or does he just disappear without bringing We Shall Get It into play?

What is the timing when Smeagol is actually removed from the fellowship by declaring in a Fellowship City/Stronghold? Does he leave at the moment of declaration before moving the fellowship piece on the map or after they are moved? For instance if as part of this declaration the fellowship piece moves through a shadow stronghold is Smeagol still the leader for possible hunt damage do to the extra tile draw, or has he already departed and thus not available to take the casualty as the leader of the fellowship?

The final word from Roberto Di Meglio hasn't come yet so play it as you see fit until the official rulinghas been made.

I just recieved the answer from Roberto:
Sméagol isn't discarded until the Fellowship figure has reached the Declared destination so he is still in the Fellowship when it passes through the Shadow Stronghold so he can be sacrificed or randomly drawn.
