Hi Veldrin, are there any mastertext-versions for the companion and minion cards? It is very useful for all owners of a non english version of this game to have the mastertexts for the event cards (that you have already provided), because of some translation errors. I think it would be nice to have the "charakter-cards", too.
Thanks, Hefi

Hello, somebody can you please write the english card text for Gollum here.
In the german version which I own it is said, that the hunt damage can be reduced by one with Gollums ability. Now somebody said to me, that in the english version Gollum can be used to reduce one point of corruption. It's a difference when you consider a hunt tile with a "zero" and no reveal icon on it. In the german reading, the hunt damage cannot be negative, so Gollum can't be used to reduce corruption in this case. But when the original text speaks of reducing corruption and not hunt damage it should be possible to reduce corruption with gollum. Well, this seems not to be reasonable, because it would mean that Gollum can heal.
Whats the correct wording on the card?
Thanks, Hefi

The English text says "If the hunt does not reveal the Fellowship, you may reveal it to reduce Hunt damage by one".
I would take this as reducing damage, before it gets applied to corruption total. If there is no damage, there is nothing to reduce. It doesn't say 'subtract one'.
I have a vague memory that there's something in the FAQ about this, too...

I just wanted to be sure.

This works so if you would hit 12 corruption with a non-reveal tile, and Gollum is the guide, he could reduce the corruption by 1, thus causing you to only be at 11 and you get revealed.
