I haven't received the game yet, but have read the rules a few times and every single playing session printed. One thing that strikes me as lacking is that there appears to be no "test of will" for the Ringbearer to destroy the One Ring at the Crack of Mt. Doom. If he gets there and isn't corrupted yet, game over. Does anybody else feel this way, particularly the people that have played the game?

This is abstracted in the Corruption of the Ringbeares by reaching twelve Corruption points when you reach the Crack of Doom.

Perhaps you could simulate this by a house rule which dictates that you must be hidden on the final space to destroy the ring, If you are revealed on the final space then you must hide again before the ring can be destroyed
