I've seen some pics of the minis in the game and they look great. But I haven't seen how all the regulars and elites will be represented. I'm particularly interested in the dwarf elites.
Here is what I believe the minis for each nation (regular/elite) consist of:
Sauron: orc footsoldier, troll Isengard: dunleding (?), uruk-hai wolf-rider S&E: infantry, mumakil
Gondor: infantry, knight on horseback Elf: elven archer, elven horseman Dwarf: dwarven footsoldier, ? North: infantry, cavalry Rohan: infantry, cavalry
Can anyone correct me if my suppositions on the minis are wrong?

You got most of them. The figures are as follows: Sauron: orc footsoldier/troll Isengard: uruk/orc on warg S&E: infantry/mumakil Gondor: infantry/knight on horseback Elf: elven archer/elven horseman Dwarf: dwarven footsoldier/tougher-looking dwarven footsoldier on pile of rocks North: barding bowman/ranger on horseback Rohan: infantry/cavalry

Thanks for the quick response.
Are the miniatures made of a soft/flexible plastic or a hard plastic similar to that used by Games Workshop for their plastic miniatures?

To be honest... ...after having read a few topics at BoardGameGeek, I decided that I'll most likely paint my miniatures.
Not too complicated, I'll paint the entire character one color and make the base color a bit darker.. or atleast some similar color.
So... there I was thinking, what colors to use?? But my question would be, are the miniatures a hard&sturdy kind of material... or do they bend easily?
In case they bend easily, I'm only going to paint the base. If they don't bend, I'm certainly going to consider painting the entire miniature.

I've read that there are 8 silver units to represent The Fellowship an their Companions and three silver units representing the Minions of The Shadow. Who are the they? I bet one of them is the Witch King, but who are the other two? Plz reply

A mortal servant of Sauron, a wizard who calls himself "The Mouth of Sauron". You can find all that you can read about him in "The Return of The King", Book Five, Chapter 10, "The Black Gate opens". One of my favourite scenes/decriptions/texts in the trilogy BTW.

"At its head there rode a tall and evil shape, mounted upon a black horse, if horse it was..."
"The rider was robed all in black, and black was his lofty helm; yet this was no Ringwraith but a living man. The Lieutenant of the Tower of Barad-dur he was, and his name is remembered in no tale; for he himself had forgotten it, and he said: 'I am the Mouth of Sauron.'"
It gets even better after that...
