I would love to encourage FF Games to release the new enlarged board which will be 6" longer and wider, and increased regional space in the middle, and shrinking useless regional space on the outer edges and ocean. Some regions will be more than double in size reducing the need for those dumb markers. Armies of 10 will ALWAYS fit. How many of you are interrested in just the board? (many have already painted their own figures)

Ok here's the thing. If you've REALLY got an itch to get your hands on the new board (and/or whatever else is "new"), why would they sell it to you separately when they could get you to buy the whole collector's edition? Because I think secretly some people WOULD buy the collector's edition if they had to, just to get the new board and whatever other fancy "new" parts they included.
Also, I think $250 isn't that realistic. I would be SHOCKED if the price wasn't AT LEAST $300.

IF you have painted figures, BETTER than the C.Ed. there are very few, if any, who would pay $250 for a board. I would not.

I would definately buy the board, but only the board as I have both game and xpac, and all painted.
