Gandalf the white and Galadriel share their dice. Aragorn (the king) have his own. But, what if we would give Gandalf his dice, so Aragorn and Galadriel would share it. For me it is thematic, because Aragorn could go to Rohan like in the book. Because of his crown I always push him in MT fastest I can. Also it can help FP more (many of players think that balance isn't 50:50) - Strider can go with Frodo to the end, you will not lose dice. However, Aragorn is maybe more important for men of the west, they need king more than a wizard. I must admit that I still didn't try playing with these rules. So, what is your opinion about this?

IMO, after considering this rule, I see one problem: Killing Gandalf becomes a no-brainer. With actuals rules, some players try to keep The Grey ability for quite some, using Galadriel dice instead, if allowed by Mordor , and some players rush Aragorn to stardom, but not all of them. With this rule house rule, although appealing, I fear the choices would get slimer. Perfidius

Maybe. Maybe not. You still have a lot of options. You can place Aragorn in any battle, you don't have to fear to lose dice. Also you don't have to rush to crown him. In books he was in Helm's Deep first. you can leave him in FSP too, because of Strider's great ability. However, you are in right about something. Using these rules Gandalf could become a bit inactive. Maybe it would be the best if we would give Galdriel her dice. Let Aragorn and Gandalf the White share it. It gives a lot of choices for FP. SP can decide not to muster Mordor, but it is also dangerous for them and you can get Elves to war.

What about: 2 extra dices max, without other rules ? You choose your own combo... if SP could do the same, of course. Imagine a game without Saruman, with just Balrog and WK ! it should be fun...

That's exactly what I was thinking... at least for the FP. Shadow already has enough advantages...
