Sauron knew something was going well when he rolled 3 musters on turn one: Balrog and the Man. The free used a ring for Galadriel.
T2: Sauron mustered all to war, while Gandalf wowed the Fellowship with Axe&Bow, Elven Rope, & Wizard's Staff, but overland speed was unimpressive.
T3: 7hp from Dol Guldur besieges Woodland Realm. Rangers cow them, apperantly. 11 hp of Easterlings eye the dwarves.
T3-4 Saruman voiced up some Dunland Uruks, and was all set to go marauding with the Moria Troll, when they were like: "f*** it dude, lets go trash Lorien". Only 12 HP, ill-led with just the WK and a Warg, did indeed crush the 7hp of defense. Hat tip to Durin's Bane and Deadly Strife.
T5-6 Helm's Deep falls easily. Erebor falls easily. The fellowship is literally undamaged, but moving slowly - T5 it suicides Gandalf into the first possible tile - a '3'.
T6-7 Edoras falls, but not without a fight. Eomer rallies a strong Anorien force, then liberates Helm's Deep to keep the Fellowship in the game another turn (though stationary). Gandalf rises in "must hold" Woodland Realm. Pelargir and Dol Amroth fall easily.
T8: Gandalf leads Woodland Realm, but he can't stop a 5-hit Mumakil rampage.
Fellowship is still three away from Mordor with 0 corruption and 7 companions.
Sauron Military Victory, by a huge, huge margin. This felt like a pre-expansion game, and a bad one at that.
