Fellowship still in Rivendell, Smeagol as guide, at 10 on the Track, decides to reveal in Minas Morgul via Moria. Balrog tile is an eye. What happens? Story-wise, this would mean that Smeagol bit it in Moria so wouldn't technically be able to get the fellowship inside Mordor in the middle of a turn. Would the fellowship figure stay in Minas Morgul or would you just remove Smeagol and get the fellowship inside Mordor?

The Declare is done first so the Fellowship would end up in Mordor and Smeagol would eat the dirt.

Smeagol writes out a detailed plan of attack for Mordor as soon as he takes over the Guideship. If something happens to him, like he goes mano a mano with the Balrog, the fellowship has instructions to open the sealed plan to get into Mordor.
He's a suprisingly forward thinking slime-ball.

Well, he was rather shrewd in the book convincing Frodo of his innocence and then going for the Ring at the end.

Gollum almost had a change of heart before he led Frodo and Sam into Shelob's lair because of Frodo's kindness. But then Sam used harsh words against him and he went irrevocably back into his "sneakiness."
