Hi guys!
My internet connection is currently down and has been for the entire week (I am not at home writing this).
I have recieved a special treat for you from Francesco but unfortunately I can't post it untill my own internet connection is working properly.
So as soon as I am back online there will be a new Sneak Peek to look at.

Veldrin,
In your playtest games, when was the Witch King usually mustered? I would assume that it is dependent on the political state of the FP's nations and the development of Sauron's forces. He looks like a huge asset for battles, especially before Gandalf the White shows up...

With regard to the Witch King and his appearance - in our earlier games we were quite restrained in bringing him into the game because of activating all the good guys. In later games he was recruited much sooner due to our recognition that extra dice for both sides are incredibly useful added to his rather helpful powers. Obviously the political situation can have a bearing but usually the FP player makes some moves towards mobilising the free nations against the shadow which is just what the Witch King needs.

More on the Witch King - there are some useful event cards keyed to the presence of the WK such as the Black Captain commands and the WK Returns which can have a bearing on your willingness to see him committed and one of the Shadow's main tasks is to divert the FP player from speeding towards Mordor and the WK can be very distracting!

There is also the quite usefull Grond present as an Event, only usable if the Witch-King is in play.
As a Shadow player I try to look at how usefull the Witch-King and his extra die will be to my effort while trying not to look too much at the political state of the Free Peoples. Even if they become active they must be moved to war which takes some effort from the FP player.
