I thought that the sword symbol stood for Character Event Card.
Isn't the card either a Character Event card or a Strategy Event card?
So the correct description should be that it is a Shadow Character Event Card?

Thanks for the sneak peek!
1st off: I like the look of the card. Simple yet attractive.
2nd: The abilities/actions/events sound really interesting. I like how there are multiple resolutions for the card - depending on how/when/where you want to use it, and again on the circumstances present at its use.
Are all/most of the cards like that?

Yes, there are 24 character cards and 24 which are a mixture of army effect cards and reinforcement cards collectively called strategy cards. Each card also has a battle effect which may be used immediately in a round of battle although the event portion of the card is then forfeited. Many of the best event cards also have the best battle effects just to force those agonising decisions about which to keep and which to play!

Sorry about that, but reading 'Shadow Character Card' made me think about those wonderful cards depicting Saruman, the Witch-King and the Mouth of Sauron... what? You didn't see them?? ... ... ... ... ... ... I didn't see them either... yet! Francesco
