Roberto Di Meglio wrote over at ConsimWorld that, and I quote: " The game will appear around the world through the summer, from July to September. I can not be more accurate at the moment as there is still some small production bug to fix." So it is only a few more months of intolerable waiting! [glow=green,2,300]Veldrin[/glow]

Just an FYI for those coming to the boards and seeing this notice...
It appears that Fantasy Flight Games has pushed back the release to August 2004 (from July). Of course, it sounds as though (from Veldrin's post) that it might be postponed up to September too.
Ahhh... the waiting....

Well - FFG has officially stated the game will be arriving in September (pushed back from August).
Of course, September is a long month... but for those of us in the U.S., let's hope that is an EARLY September release!!

At this rate the extended version of the Return of the King DVD will be out before the game or maybe that's their plan?!

A concurrent release of all things Tolkien?
The extended DVD... EA's Battle for Middle Earth PC Game (looks quite delectable)... and our much beloved War of the Ring boardgame...
I don't know what I would do...
I am a Gemini - capable of wielding both sides of my brain, capably dividing my attention center... but three diversions... each with Orks, Dwarves, Elves, one bad mother of a wizard, and of course, Peregrin Took...

The first batch of games arrived some time ago at FFG. They allocated the copies to the retailers, and those copies will probably end up in the hands of the first customers to have booked a copy in the next couple of days.

Some of the On-line sites are saying it's In-stock, and some have notified people that it has shipped to them. Has anyone heard from Funagain.com?

Well - it's FINALLY IN MY HANDS! I CONTROL THE RING!!! BWAAA-HAA-HAA!!! I can't wait to play! Glad you finally got it! I still cannot believe how much it took to be available (even if still partially) in the US... but I waited for so many US games to arrive in Europe in the past that I think I know how you feel!
