Ok, let me make sure we are doing this right.
To split fellowship members off, you spend a character action die. Then, one member or group of members may break off, and move to a certain location (the entrie group to one location). I understand how the #spaces movement works.
So the questions are:
When I use a die to break people off the fellowship, do I also get to move any fellowship members also on the board?
When I break people off the fellowship, do all the guys I just broke off have to go to the same location?
Thanks.

1) We play that the die can split members AND move all already split characters, since its not a Fellowship movement per se. However, upon re-reading the bullets on pg 13, it could be argued either way (that splitting members is a type of "moving the fellowship"). We need Veldrin for this one.
2) Pg 19 states "If you are separating a group of companions, move their figures together...." There is no enabling rule to allow you to split them and move them to different areas. (which probably adds to the argument of it being a type of "fellowship movement").

1) You have to choose, either you move the Companions allready separated or you separate a new Companion/ group of Companions.
2) Yes, the separated Companions must all end their move in the same Region.
