Well, I have War of the Ring pre-ordered from fairplaygames.com. And of course I'm terribly jealous of all of those people who already have copies of the game. Anyhow, in order to whet my appetite for the game I was hoping a few playtesters/game owners could post a few card descriptions.
I was wondering how the Eagles are represented in the game (I know it is by cards). I know there is a card called Gwahir Windlord and that it has something to do with movement...
Also, how are the Giant Spiders card(s) represented?

The Eagleas are represented by a Free People Event card that allow the FP player to attack and drive of the Nazgûl from an army they are commanding.
Gwahir the Windlord is also a FP Event card that can be used to speed up the movement of a separated Companion and can be used to slip in to a siege.
I dont remembet the spider card that well but I believe it allowed the Shadow player to attack the Woodland Realm in Mirkwood.

Kristofer's lack of recall is due to the fact that the Giant Spiders were axed before the final release (unless FFG put them back again!)

Thank you both.
I thought Francesco fairly recently answered a question on the geek about what creatures were in the game and said the giant spiders were in. But it may have been an old question that I recently read....

Thank you both. I thought Francesco fairly recently answered a question on the geek about what creatures were in the game and said the giant spiders were in. But it may have been an old question that I recently read.... Could well have been a new one! It's easy for me to mix the card drafts in my mind... they're so many (as many people here knows well).
