How is the Balrog in Moria used in the game? Is it an event card that can be played on a revealed fellowship? Is it captured in the revealing of Hunt Tiles (a large number in Moria represents the Balrog..)? or something else?

The Balrog is an Event card that you must play on the table before the Fellowship tries to go through Moria. If the Fellowship is revealed and the Fellowship miniature (which shows their last known location) begins, ends or passes through the Moria region when the FP player decides how they move they must draw 1 tile for being revealed, 1 for moving through a Shadow stronghold and one additional tile for the Balrog card. A total of three tiles, very nasty. If the Fellowship manages to sneak through Moria without being revealed or if the Fellowship takes another route the Battle effect on the Balrog card can still be used even if the card is on the table. Perhaps we will see the Balrog card as a sneak peek (hint, hint Francesco ) [glow=green,2,300]Veldrin[/glow]

As Kris already pointed out, there is a card manifesting the Balrog, but it should be considered present also in the fortuitous draw of a high Hunt Tile when passing through Moria, especially if the Fellowship is revealed while travelling there, and thus drawing TWO Hunt tiles...
