Hello,
Just a simple question. Why there is just one Stronghold box for Shadow Armies (the one on the left where armies retreat when under siege) while there is one for each Stronghold for Free Peoples? This mean that not more then one Shadow Armies Stronghold at time can be under siege or what?
Thanks Klaud

Any number of Shadow Strongholds can be under siege at the same time.
The fact that there is only one Stronghold space for them is because it is quite rare that the Free Peoples go on a large scale offensive and the times were you need more than one Stronghold box for the Shadow Strongholds are easily counted.
If the need for a second (or more) Shadow Stronghold box arises simply use a part of the western sea.

"Quite Rare" Happens about half my games. It gets harder when Free armies are besieged in Moria and Minas Morgul, and then the Free attack Mt Gundabad!
