Well, it only took us 3 weekends, but we finally finished our first game. I thought I'd clarify a few things before I try my hand with the expansion.
My wife got two spaces away from the crack of doom in one turn, when I pulled an eye out of the Hunt pool. Because she moved twice on the same turn I rolled two dice and won the game since her corruption was at 8 and I rolled ten. Also, I pulled a tile for the first move she made in the track and pulled a "0". That's the way I read the rules... every time the fellowship moves in the track you immediately pull a tile. Does all of this sound legit? I hope so, otherwise I'm going to really regret my little victory dance after the game.
When a hunt tile is drawn with a Sword icon that's crossed out, does this mean the fellowship can't move until it's next turn, or do they get moved back one on the track (and morder track)?
Regarding companions, they cannot be attacked or attack when separated from an army and moving independently or with a group of companions. Correct?
Regarding recruitment/mustering, you must recruit an army into the nation of it's origin. In other words, you can't muster two Sauron regular units into Orthanc just because you ran out of Isengard regulars? Same holds true for the FP... can't bring Elves into Gondor when you run out of Gondor troops, right?
I think that's all for now... but I'm sure I'll have more!

That's the way I read the rules... every time the fellowship moves in the track you immediately pull a tile. Does all of this sound legit? I hope so, otherwise I'm going to really regret my little victory dance after the game. Every time the FP player moves the Fellowship on the Mordor track the Shadow player draws a Hunt tile and applies the result immediately, an Eye tile means Corruption equal to the number of dice in the Hunt box (including FP dice used to move the Fellowship earlier in the same turn, but not the one used for the current movement) When a hunt tile is drawn with a Sword icon that's crossed out, does this mean the fellowship can't move until it's next turn, or do they get moved back one on the track (and morder track)? It means that the Fellowship failed to move in Mordor and remains on the same step of the Mordor track as it was before the FP player tried to move them. They can still try to move again in the same game turn. The tiles with the "crossed sword" icon are only used when the Fellowship is on the Mordor track so they cannot move the Fellowship progress counter of the Fellowship track. Regarding companions, they cannot be attacked or attack when separated from an army and moving independently or with a group of companions. Correct? Correct, unless the Companions/Minions are in the same Region as a friendly army they are untouchable. Correct, units can only be mustered in settlements of their own Nation (except when you Muster through an Event card that allows otherways) [glow=green,2,300]Veldrin[/glow]

Oops! So, I shouldn't have rolled two dice to add corruption, I should have added one corruption point for the one dice used to move the fellowship earlier in the turn, but not for the second dice which allowed me to draw the Eye. My victory dance is looking pretty stupid right about now. Know any good marriage counselors?
Thanks for setting me straight.

You should also add Corruption for each Shadow die placed (and each Eye of Sauron result rolled) in the Hunt box during the Hunt Allocation phase. Remember that you cannot place more dice than there are Companions still in the Fellowship (a minimum of one).

After a few games, I can recommend reading the entire FAQ - even after having read it several times, and played more than 50 games, I can find things we've been doing wrong :-D
