TaNaaD card says: "Immediately move the Army up to two Regions." (A Companion must be with this army.)
Question is: can you move "right through" an opposing army to get into the region beyond it? (Example: FP army in Fangorn jets right through SP army in Fords of Isen and FP army occupies an empty Orthanc.)
The normal rules say you cant move into a region occupied by another army (rather, you have to attack it). Does that usual standard apply to this card? (Thus making the Fangorn to Orthanc -- through enemies in Fords -- impossible?) This is what we are leaning toward, but we can't find it in any faq.
Or is it treated like some kind of secret path - maybe that only the companion knows about... so that the intervening army can be bypassed? (If that's the case, can you use this card to sneak -- teleport, so to speak -- out of a siege?)
Thanks

No, you can't move through an enemy Army. The card simply says to move the Army up to two Regions. Other than that, you have to follow all of the normal rules for movement, since the card doesn't specifically override any of those rules.

New question on TaDaaN:
Situation: I moved Aragorn up 3 from Minas Tirith to Parth Celebrant (PC) just south of Lorien.
I then used TaDaaN to swing the Lorien army down through PC -- picking up Aragorn -- and on to Dimrill Dale (with intent to attack Moria next turn).
Is it legal to "pick up" Aragorn like this in the middle of this double move?
Opponent suggested it was "not the same army" that started out using the card to move 2 spaces, and so I could not do this.
I agreed that I could not do it if it was just sucking up more army units into my double-moving army (true/false?) but that I wasn't sure about a Companion.
We decided I was wrong, and I retracted the move. Wondering what others think about this.
Thanks,
H

You played it correctly. You can't pick up figures in the middle of a double move. From the FAQ:
While the question doesn't specifically mention Characters, the answer implies that they can't be picked up either.

Missed that in my text-search of the FAQ and magicgeek's shrunk rules. Now I see because I was searching for 'Day and a Night' when it should be 'Night and a Day'... heh.
Definitely answers that question.
Thanks
Will edit the title of this thread for future searchers.
