If only one eye is in the hunt box, and Shadow is entitled to two or three re-rolls due to presence of Naz, Army and/or Stronghold in last known FS position...
Can Shadow re-roll that single die multiple (two or three) times?
Or does the fact that you only had 1 eye allocated and rolled 1d6 to Hunt, limit you to ONE re-roll even if you are entitled to 2 or 3 re-rolls?
Rules, p20 says: "... the Shadow player can, after the Hunt roll, re-roll one failed Hunt Roll die for each of the above conditions that apply."
Got an opinion or a cite that clears this up?

Whether in the Hunt or in combat, each failed die may only be re-rolled once.

Thanks. I think so too. It seems to be stated more clearly for combat purposes.

q... Can Shadow re-roll that single die multiple (two or three) times? Cut from The Actual rules A "If The Fellowship Figure is in a region with a Shadow controlled stronghold, a Shadow army unit or a Nazgul, the Shadow can reroll a Hunt Dice for each condition that applies." Also . .. "You can never reroll more combat dice than you missed in the initial Combat roll." Technically your question could still be applied to the initial answer. I do not believe that it is explicitly stated in the rulebook, not to the exclusion of all question anyway. And funnily enough The Actual Rules have the same twist that combat rerolls are explicit, Hunt rerolls are not explicitly stated. After all, they were derived from the 4 rulebooks. I think it would be fair to say "the Shadow can reroll a Hunt Dice for each condition that applies." means reroll a dice for each condition, not reroll the same die over and over. veldrin.proboards22.com/index.cgi?board=Rules&action=display&thread=621
