We played the Rohan-scenario and enjoyed it. But we need some clarification on the rules. These ones I couldnt find in the FAQ/Forums: 1. Recruitment of Dunlendings: 2 or 4 in total ? In the rules (page 22) it is stated that the SP can recruit a total of 2 Dunglendings with a Muster dice. However, in the Summary of the rules (the Dutch version) it says for the Muster dice: "Put 2 Dunlending in EACH of 2 different areas ...." which means a total of 4. Which one is right? 2. Legolas & Gimli Legolas & Gimli can come into "play" (not on the map that is) with an event card (FP number 10). On this card they talk about (Dutch version) "removing figures" to help Aragorn in some way(depending if he is on the Fate-track or not). We thought that "figures" refers on this card only to Legolas or Gimli. Is this right? 3. Passing throught Entwood with Fast movement When a SP-army fast-moves through Entwood, we thought it right to have a free Entwood attack on that army. Are we right on this one? This means that positioning the Entwood in a special location (like Northern Bounds) could be a very nice tactic for the FP. 4. Occupation of Ork-recruitment areas. Does the occupation of Ork-recruitment areas by the FP makes the Eye-dice result useless (giving that there are no other Mordor-Orks on the board)? We thought so and we thought that it this adds a nice possible tactic for FP. Are we right on this one? BTW There is a SP-event card that adds Mordor-Orks to any army so the Eye-dice could be usefull again for SP later on in the game Could anyone help me on these issues? Appreciate it.

1) ? 2) You're right: remove Legolas or Gimli figures. 3) ? 4) Yes, occupy the orc recruitment areas, if you can. Its good!

Welcome, Belovedbird! Glad you're enjoying the game! 1. Recruitment of Dunlendings: 2 or 4 in total ? In the rules (page 22) it is stated that the SP can recruit a total of 2 Dunglendings with a Muster dice. However, in the Summary of the rules (the Dutch version) it says for the Muster dice: "Put 2 Dunlending in EACH of 2 different areas ...."; which means a total of 4. Which one is right? The rules are correct. You may recruit one Dunlending in each of two areas, for a total of two. 2. Legolas & Gimli Legolas & Gimli can come into "play"; (not on the map that is) with an event card (FP number 10). On this card they talk about (Dutch version) "removing figures" to help Aragorn in some way(depending if he is on the Fate-track or not). We thought that "figures" refers on this card only to Legolas or Gimli. Is this right? Correct. 3. Passing throught Entwood with Fast movement When a SP-army fast-moves through Entwood, we thought it right to have a free Entwood attack on that army. Are we right on this one? This means that positioning the Entwood in a special location (like Northern Bounds) could be a very nice tactic for the FP. Yes, the Ents attack any Shadow Army that enters a space they occupy, even if it is just passing through. BTW There is a SP-event card that adds Mordor-Orks to any army so the Eye-dice could be usefull again for SP later on in the game That's correct. Orcs may not be recruited in a Recruitment Area that is occupied by a Rohan Army.

Thanks both of you for the answers! It seemed we interpreted 3 out 4 right. Only on the recruitment of the Dunlending we played it wrong - thats maybe why Saruman won . Now we gonna try the expansion to the WotR. Cheers and a good old-new year's change.
