When will the rules for the maingame expansion be "downloadable"?

I don't know. Nexus has decided not to release them on the net "to keep some surprises" for when you open the box and read them for the first time.
They will probably be avaialbe sometime in a near future but no set date has been anounced and I have no inside information.
