if i read the rules for the hillmen of dunland correctly, they follow all rules concerning shadow army regular units which means that for each one(1) dunlending I get one combat dice, right? And when a card require removal of units, one(1) figure of dunlending count as one unit, right?

Correct. The drawback for dunlendings is that one "hit" will take out 2 dunlendings.
