Could you help me?
In some cards it say 'the oponent roll 1 dice less', my question is: What happend if that player has 10 army in that battle, he still roll 5 dice or he roll 4 dice?
Thanks!

Four dice, I think.

You never roll more than five dice and if the opponent's card forces you to roll one die less you only roll four dice no matter if you have more than five units present.

Think of it as the difference between DICE and ATTACK STRENGTH. Something that causes a reduction in ATTACK STRENGTH will only reduce your DICE if the number is reduced below 5. However, since the number of DICE is calculated after determining ATTACK STRENGTH, then a reduction in DICE is an absolute reduction, not impacted by the previous ATTACK STRENGTH calculation.

Effects from event cards which count dice rolls results (e.g. "for each result of 1"): are they affected by modifiers (e.g. combat cards which gives you +1 on combat/leader roll) before or after effects application?

No, the card that says that the Shadow will hit his own unuts on a one only works on "natural" ones.
