Bear in mind, that while I've read the rules numerous times (and countless boards), I've only played 3 times thus far.
Here's the setup:
The SA rolls the hunt dice following a FSP movement. There are 5 dice in the box - no FP dice. They roll 1 6 denoting a succesful hunt.
Should the SA reroll the missed dice?
Obviously the one 6 is enough to draw a hunt tile. But, if the tile is an eye, the damage is predicated on how many 6's were rolled.
I would imagine that the SA should ALWAYS re-roll misses if they are able - correct?

Yes!
Always use your rerolls to get as many "hits" as possible. If you draw an Eye tile it is important to have rerolled them since you can't reroll after drawing the tile.
