Hi all. I have som questions concerning the movement og battle of army units. Please forgive my spelling.
The rules specify that an army can NEVER move twice, but i haven't found any statements saying that an army can't attack twice or more. If this is false (or true), can anyone please direct me to the relevant text in the rulesbook!
Wether it is true or not, is the following possible: Assume i move army A to army B (which haven't acted this Turn) and merge them into a new and bigger army C. Is it then possible for me, in the same Turn, to attack an adjescant region with the entire army C or only B?
If it is true that an army can attack more than once in a given Turn, is there any limit to the number of times it can attack?

Essentially - each action takes 1 dice.
With 1 army die you can move two distinct armies. OR you can use 1 army to attack.
So, you using 1 army die you can move army A into an adjacent region. AND then move army B into the same region as Army A.
THEN in order to attack, you would need to use another army die to move the combined army C (A+B) to attack.
To your specific example:
You cannot do that. You CAN move army A onto army B, creating army C. But you cannot then attack with it. You can however, still move another army (NOT C) to a destination.
Essentially, when you look at the rules summary sheet, you pick 1 of the bulleted items to do (and only 1). You cannot do more than 1 bulleted items per die.
Hopefully that makes sense.
Now, for attacks and turns. An army can attack with 1 die. If they are attacking a region, the combat continues until either a) ALL units of one side are destroyed, b) the attacker calls off the attack, or c) the defenders retreat.
If you use army C to attack army X, that uses 1 die. Let's say you wipe out army X. You then must use another army action die to attack another adjacent army (Y).
Now remember - a turn refers to the entire process of phases 1-5 (or whatever it is: 1. draw cards; 2. fellowship; 3. Hunt Dice allocation; 4. Action Dice; 5. victory check.)
So a turn doesn't end until all of the action dice have been used (and you alternate action dice among players).
