hey guys, i need a clarification from the designers. i had an interesting situation with a recent game where the fellowship figure was in a region 1 away from morrannon. the fellowship tried to move 1 space but was hunted successfully & revealed. the fellowship figure was moved to the shadow stronghold & a 2nd chit was pulled ( 1 damage). this happened at the end of the action dice play & when the next turn began, the fellowship was still revealed. the fellowship declared it was in mordor & the figure was moved to the first step on the mordor track (while still being revealed). was this correct? i couldn't find any rule preventing the fellowship to declare while being revealed. i realize this would only come up under this circumstance. please give me the definative answer. thanks; i love the game!

You played it incorrect!
In order to Declare the Fellowship in Morannon/Minas Morgul the Fellowship must be Hidden at the start of the turn.
In your game the FP player had to Hide them in the turn he Declared them in Mordor.
He could then in the following turn Decalre them inside Mordor.

Am I right in saying that after the Fellowship is declared in Mordor (and thereby put on the Mordor track) there is no point in the Shadow Player allocating dice to the hunt box? If I am wrong, please explain why. (I ask because some of the play test games on BGG show dice being allocated to the hunt box after the Fellowship is in Mordor.)
Edit: Dice in the hunt box control the damage to the Fellowship if an Eye tile is drawn. (I understand now.)
