It's a gift/One for the dark lord question

The Company is in its last step in Gorgoroth, and a Rohan (!) army breaks into Mordor. Can players play It's a gift/One for the dark lord combat cards in Gorgoroth only, in all Mordor, or they cant play these cards at all? We decided they cant play either cards, but i would like to be sure on this very rare event.

I love these off the wall questions that people keep coming up with! In this case I would say no as the rules state that the track is a set of symbols the ringbearers have to traverse, not a physical presence in Gorgoroth.

I second Steves interpretation. I think it is a solid no, the Mordor Track is not a part of the Gorgoroth Region.
