There are lots of great ideas for new cards here, but how do we create them so they aren’t easily distinguished from existing cards, thereby giving away what’s in our hand? Here’s how I do it. If you have a better idea please post it.
Cut ~1/2” square pieces of masking tape and number them to correspond to the additional cards you’ve agreed to use. Ensure your masking tape, like mine, won’t damage your existing cards. Randomly choose cards from the appropriate deck and place the masking tape over the title without looking at them. Shuffle them back into the deck, being careful not to bind or remove the tape.
If such a card is played or removed from the table, peel off the tape and shuffle it back into the deck. If it is discarded, remove it from the game.
