Conquest a region with a companion move

Can I conquest a stronghold with a companion?
For instance, Ortanc is empty, and I move Aragorn there.
I conquer it, and the military points?

What about the Nazgul? They can do the same?

No. Only Army units (regular or elite) can capture a Region.
