I have two question for the expansion games:
1. The bonus for CS regarding terrain, is that only applicable to the defender? The reference sheets also include info on bonuses for attacking so I am confused.
2. Does the Shadow Player always have to choose to place 1,2 or 3 dices in the Shadow box or can you choose not to place any? And can the dices placed in the box still be used (as Character dices)?

Welcome, Pisfin! 1. The bonus for CS regarding terrain, is that only applicable to the defender? The reference sheets also include info on bonuses for attacking so I am confused. They are applicable only to the defender. 2. Does the Shadow Player always have to choose to place 1,2 or 3 dices in the Shadow box or can you choose not to place any? And can the dices placed in the box still be used (as Character dices)? You must place the number of dice in the Shadow Box indicated by the chosen position - 1, 2 or 3. These dice are used during the Action Resolution step, just as the rolled ones are.

Ok, but do we have to roll the dices placed in the box or are they counted as Character dices? They are already counted as character dice. Do not roll them. Place them IN the box showing the character dice to help you remember them. Note: Gondor scenario is broken. You could try my house rules which we have found over and over, makes it super fun!

Ok, where do I find those?
Edit: Nevermind. I found them.
