Here follows an account of a game ( without the expansion) that may intrest someone :
I played the FP and my opponent the Shadow, none of us being experienced players.
The shadow succeded in mustering all the strength of Sauron and the E&S in just a couple of turns while I got almost all my nations to war quite easily. The southrons succeded in taking Pelargir with a huge army but then waited for reinforcements from their kinsmen who where trying to take the North by the vale of Carmen but the fierce men of Dale and the dwarves of Erebor proved hard to beat. While that was happening Saruman launched an attack on the fords of Isen but Theodred and the rohirrim retreated in Helm`s deep. The men of Dunland where assembling and the trolls breading fast in Moria, but hope was not gone. Helm`s deep was attacked by a huge army of Uruk-Hai but, surprisingly, Theoden got ride of Grima and rode forth from Edoras, destroying the great host of orcs. The victorious army rode then past the fords of Isen and lay siege to Orthanc where Saruman was still comanding a huge army of orcs. The two armies were fighting on the edge of Isengard when Gandalf the grey and Boromir joined them from the north. However, Saruman`s army was great and lasted long ( with the help of three nazgul) but in the end, after a desperate resistance, Orthanc was taken. Rohan had won but was nearly destroyed. After the victory in the south followed a defeat in the north with Rivendell being taken. While Elrond and his kinsmen were desperatly resisting I declared the fellowship in Moria where they met the balrog and their corruption flew from 0 to 8. Then I seperated Gimli, Legolas and Strider from the fellowsip, the hobbits were again alone. All this seemed completly absurd untill Galadriel and Celeborn rode out from Lorien, leaving it unguarded and lay siege to Moria. While this was happening, the shadow succeded in taking Dale and the iron hills, was ready to attack Minas Tirith and a great hoste was creaping out from Dol Goldur, seeking to burn and destroy the unguarded Lorien from where the last elves had departed.
Moria was well guarded ( 8 units and 2 nazgul) but finally fell to the fury of the elves and the heir of Isildur. Dol Amroth was taken but this had no importance since the FP had win a military victory.
It was an intresting game and was very close untill n the end ( the shadow could have won in the next round...)
