Hello all!
I am a great fan of LoTR and startegy games in general.
And I LOVE the epic feelings and the setting of WoTR.
What would you guys think of a new game/expansion, with very similar mechanics than WoTR, but covering the Last Alliance between Elves and Men, at the End of the Second Age of Middle Earth?

Nexus' license covers the Lord of the Rings trilogy and its appendix. Therefore an expansion covering any other time in Middle Earth would be imposible.
If the license had covered it the coolest game had probaly been the last Alliance vs. Sauron.

Such a pity!
Any chance they would consider getting that license?
Another way of looking at it is:
The appendixes include a description of the 2nd Age...

I don't mind. That war concluded with a 10 year siege - booring! I mean, even the Illiad skips over 10 years of siege warfare.

How about the Battle of the Five Armies from The Hobbit? Is this covered in the license?

Battle of 5 armies sounds great! Is it at least possible?

A 10 year siege is quick in middle earth time. The 3rd battle of the 1st age ended in a 400 year siege! But that had some very cool dragons.
