There was also greats battles fought in Lorien,Woodland Realm and in Dale/Erebor and one (small) in The Shire. I think that a Scouring of the shire expansion should be very great. The game could include characters like Frodo,Sam,Merry,Pippin,Lotho,Fatty Bolger,Paladin Took,Sharkey and Grima. (A Second Age game can be interesting, and a First Age game even better.

I know these ideas have been thorugh the designers' heads and if Battles of the Third Age sells well perhaps we will see them be made into a second expansion.

I would be looking forward to a version where the journey of the Ringbearers begins in Bag's End. And somehing I had wished for the current expansion, that new miniatures (and perhaps rules) for the Easterlings are added to the main game. The current ones are more in the Haradrim-style.

Yeh, It'd be great to play from the Shire to Rivendell, with the Black Riders, Old Man Willow and Barrow Wights, aswell as Tom Bombadil, Goldberry and Glorfindel. It'd give a chance for new heroes and events, aswell as extended gameplay, with choices like should the Hobbits wait for Gandalf before they leave, and whether they take the Great East Road or the Old Forest.
