Hi all! Does anybody else find (like me) hopelessly powerful the "Dense Fog" combat Generic Card? In the Gondor Scenario, three of these cards early in the game can be devastating for the SP player in order to conquer early Osgiliath & Cair Andros. Man, I hate that card! Caedes Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson...

I agree, it is a huge card. Much more powerful than most combat cards.

Maybe if it'd had an minor adverse effect on the user, like other powerful cards that get you one damage... dunno, "user substract 1 to Combat Roll" or "User rolls two less die" or somethink like that...

I've seen it win games...for Shadow or Free, so it doesn't bug me.

I won my first Rohan game that way as SP. Tracker was on 17, had 1 useless dice left and just captured the last Rohan town needed for my 10 VP. A warg and 3 regulars survived the raid altough reinforcements were not far but useless at this moment of the game. The FP attacked me with King Theoden in front and a massive stack of cavalry and archers units. That combat card saved my day since he only managed to kill my 3 regulars on the first combat round. A very tied game it was...
