At the new Nexusgames web site www.nexusgames.com/read.asp?id=629you can see the final Italian cover layout. We like it a lot better than the old one, but a few sublicensors decided to keep the older version anyway. So, different countries, different layout.

Moreover, if you click on 'scheda prodotto' near the bottom of the page, you can see a small image of the mockup for the back of the box layout.

The fell beast's wings have mould on them! Having looked at all three box covers now I am leaning towards the original which presumably won't be on any published boxes! And it says September so pushed back another month - the interminable wait!

The original artwork is part of the back of the box layout,in black and white. September is the expected date for the Italian edition, that is preceded by the French (end of July/early August) and the English editions (end of August/early September). My double dates follow the optimistic/pessimistic format Francesco

I am very curious... Why is the French edition coming out sooner than the other editions? Why are the various language-centric versions coming out at different times?
Obviously the game mechanics aren't going to change from version to version...
How long does it take to convert your rules (which I presume are written in Italian) into English/French/German? Is there really that much disparity in production times?

Hi Francesco!
Another month delay for the Italian edition... the closer I get to this game the farer it flees... It seems it will be a perfect for my birthday (I'll try to suggest this to my friends) ;D
But what the reason for this delay?

I am very curious... Why is the French edition coming out sooner than the other editions? Why are the various language-centric versions coming out at different times? It is simply a production necessity. The printer can't print all the editions at the same time, so they will take turns in doing the different languages. The French one will be the first, because only Tilsit wanted the game before the end of August. Of course not (barring translation errors... ). The rules were written in English first. In our English at least... The disparity in production time has nothing to do with that. Francesco

Hi Francesco! But what the reason for this delay? Actually there are no delays in the Italian edition. It was supposed to be out in early September, because it is part of the smaller printings (unfortunately) that follow the French and English ones.
