Hi after 2 games I think I write a first short comment on the game. The game is really great. But in both games the FP player won. He didn't spent any dices for the fellowship. He brought the elves and the northern alliance to war and then he made an army with approximately 5 members and split up the fellowship and added all the characters to the created army. So the army is nearly unbeatble because the FP player will always hit!! So he just captured 2 strongholds with this army (the one in the region of sauron in the north and Isengard) For the SP it was not possible to avoid the loss of the strongholds.
So what do you think about this problem?

How can the FP always hit?
If you are refferring to the re-rolls generated by the Companions you can do the same as the Shadow, just move all the Nazgûl to the same army.
To stop him fro doing this just muster alot of trops in the Strongholds he is going to attack, you have the resources. Bring in Saruman as fast as possile and just upgrade Regulars to Elites in Isengard.
Bring in the Witch-King and muster lots of troops in Angmar, Mt. Gundabad and Moria.
If you prevent him from taking those places he will have no chance of destroying the Ring since Frodo no longer has any protection.
I find it easier to win as the Shadow when your opponent does this, you know that you can stop him from taking your Strongholds but he cannot stop you in the long run.

I agree with Veldrin. In my last game the FP player tried to win through military victory and left the Fellowship in Rivendell. He was quite close sometimes but only since I made one or two mistakes and in the end I won without even mustering the with-king.

This mornig I noticed that we did a mistake during the game! Instead of adding one die to the battle dice for every character in the army like gimli or legolas, we added 1 point for every character to the dice results! So the FP player always hits at 3,4,5,6! SO it was just a misunderstanding.
