Turn Stall - what is it?

Hi I've read lots of posts mentioning the 'Turn Stall' tactic, but I'm not exactly sure what it is? I get that it involves playing shadow cards that reveal the fellowship and so the FP has to burn dice & rings to hide Frodo again, but is the more to it?

EDIT: I just got promoted to Easterling! Does this mean I get my own Oliphaunt?

It is where you play a card such as cruel weather or Nazgul search to prevent the felloship from revealing in mordor the next turn.

Unfortunately not since the Easterlings didn't have the great Mumakil, instead you get a wain, loaded with all the goddies of the east. Hopefully the package doesn't get lost crossing the Western Sea on its way to you...

Thanks, I get it now. Shadow could actually stall for multiple turns if it had the dice & cards - nasty.

I'll be very happy if my wain comes loaded with a new expansion. :-)
