I haven't got what the main player can do more than his ally during his turn. Can someone explain it to me? I've played a 3 player game only once and simply the main player was the first one to use the dice. That's all?

If two players are playing on the same side, one player will have the "leader" token, first player token, whatever it is called If playing the Fellowship, the first player decides to declare the position of the fellowship, or not. If playing the Shadow, the first player decides how many dice to put in the hunt box. Then the first players roll their dice. The second players then have first choice from the dice for their actions, alternating between the second and first players from there. Basically the main player makes the big decisions at the beginning of the turn (declare the fellowship, how much to hunt), but the second players have first choice of action dice. I hope that helps.
