SP plays grond, FP reduces a siege engine to gain (according to the rules) siege superiority for the battle (normally going only 1 round) but cuz of Grond, it goes 3 rounds. Hence, does the SP roll on a 4+ for all THREE rounds, after the SP does NOT have the oppurtunity to reduce an Elite?
If the FP only receives his bonus 1st round, does that mean the SP then has superiority for the 2nd & 3rd rounds? and then still reduce an elite for a 4th round?
If the SP or FP player has superiority at the beginning, then it would effect all three rounds, and beyond.?

The combat bonus applies only to the first round, but the Free Peoples retain superiority for the entire battle, preventing the Shadow from extending the battle beyond the third round. If the SP or FP player has superiority at the beginning, then it would effect all three rounds, and beyond.? The rules for gaining and retaining superiority are as normal.
