Is it sometimes a good tactic for FPP to just declare the fellowships position every turn providing the last known position is out there in the wilderness anyways (as in not in a FP stronghold).
I mean if SP likes to put a nazgul and some random orc to the fellowship's last known position to get those hunt re-rolls, isn't it beneficial for the fellowship to declare in a different spot as soon as they have moved even one step? That way, if the shadow want's to follow them he'd have to waste at least one die every turn just for that.
This might be obvious but didn't occur to me until recently..

Yes, this is an excellent tactic. It costs the FP nothing and makes the Shadow either spend Action dice to keep up or lose the re-roll. Every little bit helps.

Not only that, some of the nastiest cards for the the SP require the fellowship to be on step 1 or higher. ie. cruel wether. This can cause the SP to discard other precious cards as he waits, and waits for an opputunity to play his cards.
