1st Turn Aragorn. Shadow grinds Lorien with 14 hits. Legolas defends. Gandalf the White rises. Galadriel kills herself Heroically. Ents to the rescue in Lorien. The Shadow Moves In Multiplying Orcs from Dol Guldur, and takes it, finally. Boromir proves the swifter into Rivendell. The WK, Elrond, and Boromir, and all armies die in a big Deadly Strife. Aroused Monsters eventually take Rivendell undefended. Gimli captures Smeagol. Smegol uppercuts the Balrog at Khazad-Dum. Critical Hit! No more Balrog. WK and Balrog both dead ... forgot to take out the die ... DOH!. Gandalf busily fortifies DEW against the inbound Barad Dur army. Fellowship stalls out after taking 3 consecutive 3-die eyes in Mordor. North Downs [1/1/0] take N. Dunland, invest lone orc in Moria ... hope for Ent support and get useless Eagles. Silly eagles, not such hot sh*t in underground caves, are you now? Gandalf abandons DEW, takes Grimbeorn and Thranduriel south, smashes token defenses in Dol Guldur. Orthanc's [3/3/0] relieves beleagured Moria, ending Free hopes there.
And now the last battle.
Gandalf, Grimbeorn, and Thranduriel race for the black gate and military victory with [2/2/3]. The shadow cagily moves its peaceful Easterlings to Dagorlad ... the Free didn't see it and despair, but attack anyway. Their combat card is Confusion, and the Shadow combat roll is 1,1,1,3. The army is anihilated. Gandalf then fights an epic battle with the lone Troll defender in Morannon, which he wins, barely.
